Five Shows Worth Braving the Cold for This Winter

WRITTEN BY: katie gordon & MITCHELL JODREY // THE BOOM AT NOON

Already finished That 90’s Show and are tired of binge watching true-crime documentaries? Here are five shows worth braving the cold for this winter.

Rankin’s Winter Warmers

The Marquee | January 7 - March 18

This winter, Rankin MacInnis is bringing the heat with his band and rotating guests to The Marquee. What we love about this series is each show is an all-ages event that runs 3-6, so you can enjoy a show with the fam and be home in time for supper.
Tickets are $15 + tax per show, or you can get a season pass for a discounted rate.

Young Hearts: Kim Harris and Stewart Legere

Eastern Front Theatre | February 14

Nothing says love quite like Romeo and Juliet. Treat someone you love to an intimate candlelit cabaret performance at The Eastern Front Theatre. Kim Harris and Stewart Legere will serenade you this Valentine’s Day when they perform music from Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet.

The duo performed the show 10 years ago at The Company House and for its revival, upped its production value and invited special guests.

Tickets are a pay-what-you-can-afford model, with tickets ranging from $25 - $45 for a single ticket, or you can purchase a private table with up to four seats for $200.
