Details Announced for 2024 Juno Awards

This March, the JUNOs are returning to Halifax in March for the first time in 18 years, when Pamela Anderson the hosted awards. On November 7, the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) held a press conference at The Marquee Ballroom to release more details.

Nelly Furtado is back to host the Juno Awards for the second time. She previously hosted the 2007 JUNOs in Saskatoon. The 10-time JUNO Award winner is also scheduled to perform at the show. Additionally, The Beaches will be back in Halifax yet again - fresh off their sold-out show at the Light House Arts Centre. Charlotte Cardin will also be performing at the award show. Hip-hop pioneer Maestro Fresh Wes will inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and will also be performing.

Tegan and Sara will be honoured with the Humanitarian Award, presented by Academy Award-nominated actor Elliot Page. Tegan and Sara have been tirelessly working through their foundation, the Tegan and Sara Foundation, to enhance the lives of LGBTQ women and girls.

In addition to the award show, JUNO Week (March 21 to 24, 2024) promises a series of engaging events including the JUNO Comedy Show, JUNO Songwriters’ Circle JUNO Stories from the Studio and JUNOfest - a two-day music festival that will unfold in over 10 venues, showcasing local talent and 2024 JUNO Award nominees. There will also be a JUNO Awards After Party in support of MusiCounts, which will feature live entertainment on two exclusive stages, providing a fitting conclusion to this music-filled weekend in Halifax.

The 53rd Annual JUNO Awards will broadcast and stream live across Canada from Scotiabank Centre in Halifax at 8 p.m. ET/9 p.m. AST on CBC and globally at CBCMusic.ca/junos

Tickets to The 2024 Juno Awards will be available to the general public on November 10.
