Iron & Wine and The Decemberists to Perform at 2025 Halifax Jazz Festival

The TD Halifax Jazz Festival has announced the first artists for its 39th edition, taking place July 15–20, 2025, in downtown Halifax.

On July 17, Iron & Wine will perform at the TD Main Stage. Known for his introspective folk sound, Samuel Beam’s latest album, Light Verse, brings a fresh, more optimistic energy after his return to music following a break during the pandemic.

The following evening, July 18, The Decemberists will take the stage. The band’s new album, As It Ever Was, So It Will Be Again, marks their first release in six years.

Tickets for both shows start at $63.72, with sales beginning Friday, December 6, at 12:00 p.m. via halifaxjazzfestival.ca. Festival passes, priced at $192.37, are also available for access to all TD Main Stage shows. More artist announcements will be made soon.
