Rose Cousins and Damhnait Doyle to Host the 36th East Coast Music Awards

The 36th annual East Coast Music Awards (ECMAs) promises to be an unforgettable night as the East Coast Music Association announces singer-songwriter Rose Cousins and musician and CBC music host Damhnait Doyle to host the event, which will take place at the Delta Prince Edward Confederation Ballroom in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, on May 2, 2024, starting at 8 p.m.

Rose Cousins, who is from Prince Edward Island and now calls Halifax, N.S., home, is a celebrated musician in the East Coast music scene, with 11 ECMAs, two JUNOs and a Grammy nomination. “I'm looking forward to getting into some good trouble with the brilliant and hilarious Damhnait Doyle as we co-host the 2024 ECMAs,” says Cousins. “I’m excited to discover and highlight the talent of the region and I truly love celebrating it all in PEI!”

Damhnait Doyle, originally from Newfoundland and Labrador and currently residing in Toronto, ON, has seven ECMAs and two JUNO nominations and hosts CBC Music's Weekend Mornings. "I am beyond excited to plant my feet in the red clay on PEI and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to host the East Coast Music Awards this year with my buddy and PEI treasure Rose Cousins,” says Doyle. “So, looking forward to soaking up every single minute of the incredible music and people of the East Coast.”
