Casino Nova Scotia Announces Its Schooner Showroom Will Be Renamed The Bruce Guthro Theatre

In a social post on December 8, 2023, Casino Nova Scotia announced that its Schooner Showroom will be renamed the Bruce Guthro Theatre. This tribute comes three months after the beloved Cape Breton singer-songwriter Bruce Guthro passed away. In addition to his own successful music career, Bruce was also known for his songwriters' circles, many of which he hosted at Casino Nova Scotia.
