Sommo Festival Returns With New Dates Announced

Building on the success of its inaugural year, Whitecap Entertainment has unveiled the new dates for Sommo Festival 2024. The first year of the festival featured memorable performances by headliners Mumford & Sons and Maggie Rogers, including a captivating joint performance on the closing night.

The festival will be held on September 13-14 this year. Last year the festival was in July. “Our plan was always to launch Sommo last year and then find an annual date that worked best for both the local community and the festival. With today's announcement, we're confident that we've been able to do just that,” says Whitecap CEO Ben Murphy. "When we were able to secure one of the hottest musical acts right now to come to PEI this September, it was another sign that we were moving in the right direction. We're excited to announce our official dates for 2024 and can't wait to showcase Cavendish once again to fans of great music and delicious food!"
