The fourth day of the ECMAs presented an array of skilled performers - both on the stage and on the ice. On Saturday, The Boom at Noon attended the ECMA Cup Charity Hockey Game and showcases at Alderney Landing, The Marquee, The Seahorse and the Marriott Harbourfront Hotel.

The annual ECMA Cup Charity Hockey Game took place at the Halifax Forum on Saturday afternoon and raised funds for Sound Minds, a named grant to support Nova Scotia Mental Health. The teams were made up of musicians, former NHL and professional hockey players, media figures and celebrities. It was a close game, but in the end, the black team took home the cup.

Christina Martin was the first performer at the Songwriter Spotlight at Alderney Landing Saturday night. Within her 30-minute showcase, Christina captivated the crowd making every person in the crowd feel like she was singing directly to them.

Fresh off his Rising Star Recording of the Year ECMA win, Dylan Menzie took the stage at Alderney Landing. Playing solo, throughout his performance Dylan had the crowd singing along and laughing at his witty banter.

Cheval was the third act to perform at the Songwriter Spotlight. First hitting the music scene in the late 90s, AA Wallace brought Cheval back to life and shared it with a full room at the Alderney Landing theatre in downtown Dartmouth.

The Town Heroes performed their second showcase of the 2023 ECMAs on Saturday at the Pop Rock Stage. Bringing the energy like they always do, the full band played to a massive crowd in one of the Harbourfront Marriott’s ballrooms.

Andrew Waite and his talented backing band put on an incredible show at The Marquee. This was their second show of the day, following a performance at the Export Buyers Showcase.

Incredible PEI-based singer, songwriter and instrumentalist Joce Reyome took the stage at The Marquee following Andrew Waite, showcasing their powerhouse vocals as the packed venue danced along.

Adam Baldwin has had a busy couple of weeks! Recently wrapping his Maritime tour, including two sold out shows at the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium and an ECMA win for Song of the Year for his song “Lighthouse in Little Lorraine,” Adam and his amazing backing band, The Jenny Wren closed out The Marquee Saturday night lineup with an incredible set to an enthusiastic crowd.
